8.00 (or 13.00) you will be picked up by our car, driver at your hotel in Hanoi. Then transfer southwest to the Van Phuc silk village, situated on the bank of Nhue River, about 10km southwest of Hanoi Old Quarter. The Van Phuc silk village is renowned for its traditional weaving and premium quality silk products. At the age of more than 1,200 years, Van Phuc is proud to be the most ancient silk village which provides the best silk in Vietnam.

Coming to Van Phuc village you will be impressed by typical manner of an ancient village in the north of Vietnam with banyan tree, well, communal house, and the sound of power-looms everywhere. Walking on the main road in Van Phuc, tourists will be lost in the world of silk with various products like shirts, ties, crafts, dresses… made of silk available in the village.

Transfer to Ha thai lacqueware village. Ha Thai lacquer ware products are made with a centuries-old technique of applying and polishing layer upon layer of Vietnamese lacquer. Combined with egg shell and mother-of-pearl inlays, the lacquer ware found here comes in thousands designs and models. Among the most common are boxes, trays, vases, pots, albums, lamp-shades, plates and paintings. Each product is not only pleasing to the eye, but also useful and durable.

Around noon (mid-afternoon), you will be transferred back to your hotel. End.
