Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc (Ninh Binh).
08.00: Private car with driver come to pick you up from your hotel, depart 2 hour driving along green fields and villages in the two side of the high way number 01. Arrival in Hoa Lu, used to be the capital of Vietnam in the 11st centuries, visit the templeof Dinh & Le dynasty, learn about history of Vietnam in the war with China and about the first Vietnamese government. Have a great view of rice paddy field, and lots of fresh air. After lunch, get on a small boat, glide along a long canal with rice paddy fields and mountains two sides, your boat will go through three cave called “Hang Ca”, “Hang 2”, “Hang 3”.
Day 2: Tam Coc – Halong Bay.
This morning your driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer through the Red River Delta to Halong Bay. Upon arrival you are welcomed aboard your boat and set sail through the bay – The world natural heritage area while lunch is served. You can enjoy your day by swimming, relaxing on the beach or climbing the steps to the top of the mountain on the island for fantastic views and photo opportunities. You will continue your wonderful day with a 40 minute kayaking program to the nearby Bat Cave or take a sampan rowing to visit the Cua Van floating fishing village, the largest floating fishing village in Halong Bay. Next, there will be time to relax and enjoy a deluxe Vietnamese & Western buffet or set menu dinner.
Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi.
Rising to the sound of lapping bay waters, you can attend a tai chi demonstration on the sundeck at the break of dawn. After breakfast you will get on a tender to explore Sung Sot (“Surprise”) Grotto, one of the most beautiful grottoes of the bay, or you may just relax onboard the boat. You can then freshen up and relax while Lunch is served. You will have more time to relax on the sundeck or in the dining room and enjoy the bay scenery as you approach the pier. Picked up again by your driver, car and transferred back to Hanoi.
