8.00 (or 13.00) you will be picked up by our private car, driver at your hotel in Hanoi. Transfer to southwest Hanoi, ex Ha Tay province. The drive takes about 1 hour before you arrive in the middle of rural Hanoi.

The first stop is made at Tay Phuong pagoda. Tay Phuong Pagoda date from the seventh century, has an architecture that is a masterpiece of wood carving in Vietnam. The wooden sculptures displayed at the Tay Phuong pagoda are worthy of particular note as they are a perfect illustration of this art form. Decorative features embellishing the pagoda’s structure and statues reveal great realism in their impressive detail. Don’t miss the statue of the ascetic Buddha in the second room, nor those of the Eight Judges of Hell and the Sixteen Patriarchs, with their very expressive features, in the next room.
